LAST YEARS GOOD CAUSE

This year the club has decided to raise money for one worthy good cause. Deryn is an 11 year old Watton young man, who in 2010 was diagonised with having Leukaemia. His mum and dad have both given up work to help look after Deryn and his younger brother, and have been raising money for a laptop so that Deryn can continue with his school work when he is not fit enough to attend and a special bed. Any money that is left after the three years of treatment will be split and will go towards Deryns dream trip to the NASA space station in America, and all the charities and organisations which have helped him.  We will be helping raise money for him and his family at events that we attend, you can track how we are doing on our past events page. CLUB NIGHT FEBRUARY 3RD WATTON. REPORT DALEK RUNS AMOK IN WATTON                              
Well what a night! Watton will never be the same again.
 
KALRACK, THE FAMOUS TIME TRAVELLERS GOLD DALEK WAS LET LOOSE IN WATTON TO PROMOTE THE FILMSOMNIA EVENT TO BE HELD ON SAT/SUN 8/9TH SEPTEMBER AT THE UEA NORWICH.                                                                                                                                    Traffic came to a standstill, cars beeped their horns and many a startled motorist and passer by could not believe their eyes,... Yes, it was not an apparition, there was a Dalek in the town. At least a dozen people in the local chip and Kebab shop were stunned to see this space invader peering at them through the window. Even a lady who was looking out of her front door dressed in a dressing gown of Leopard skin collapsed when Kalrack went trundling by. After recovering, she stepped out on to the pavement and posed for pictures. As we turned for home a bus went by and people pointed from inside the bus !!
That was on the outside, while in the Hall at Watton Junior School, the club unveiled their new DVD Wall projector and Dr Who was on the big screen.
 
Jeff and Steve, again put on a brillaint Gerry Anderson display and we had Judoon and Clockwork Doll costumes on display. Games and lots of discussion were undertaken and a splendid time was had by all.                                                                                                                                                         The next club night is April 13th, so come and meet us all.

KALRACK REFURB

You will be pleased to know that Kalrack is approximately 90% completed. His new paint job is almost complete, and with his new voice box he really has got his menacing personality back.

WATTON CHRISTMAS FAIR

What a great day we had, all be it very cold. We had Kalrack happily Exterminating anyone with Christmas cheer and Candy Floss. Vashna  came and joined in along with the Cyber Queen. We had Brass bands, Pipers, Choirs all to keep the festivities rolling.

DALEKS EXTERMINATE ALL RIVALS IN SCI-FI POLL 2011                                                                     
The Daleks have exterminated all challengers to be named the greatest monsters in the Galaxy by Sci-fi fans the world over. The Daleks first seen in Doctor Who in 1963, - triumphed over creatures and foes from Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings,  The Alien Films and the Predator Films. They topped the list in a poll commissoned by leading Sci-Fi and Fantasy Magazine SFX.
